The Spider (something I wrote in Reading Period)

A spider. That’s what it took to pull me out of my ravine. I watched it crawl for probably five minutes. Then they noticed me and Kenzie staring. Kenzie mentions the spider. They freak. I find it in a binder. The owner of the binder stomps it. I retreat back to my ravine, but for those several minutes watching that spider I felt like myself again. But as soon as it died, so did I, again(metaphorically of course).

Minus seven and eight, although I haven’t been eating as much as what is normal for me I still eat quite a bit.

The thing is it won’t just matter a year from now, it will matter the rest of my life, whatever “it” is, is messing with my grades, which determines my future.

This is what gets me the most, it has happened so much that most of the time I don’t even try anymore.
